When a CardSentry Analyst calls a cardholder, the phone number on the caller ID will read 270-442-7361. Depending on the caller ID, the name will be either CSI, Computer Services Inc, or Valparaiso Indiana. If the call is not answered, and a voicemail is left, that voicemail will be similar to “Hello, my name is [analyst name]. I’m calling on behalf of Iowa State Bank card services, and I’m calling for [name on card], in regards to verifying transactions on a debit card ending in [XXXX]. Please return our call at (844)-202-5333.” If the call is answered, the analyst will describe the activity we were suspicious of. If the cardholder believes it to be fraudulent, or isn’t sure, we will direct them to contact the bank for further review/reissue. If the activity is valid, the analyst can open the card back up. CardSentry does not send texts, nor do we ever ask for full card numbers, full account numbers, PINs, full SSNs, etc.

Every day people fall victim to fraudulent calls, texts and emails from scammers pretending to be their bank. Their communication is designed to trick you into providing your confidential information like pin numbers, Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, or birthdays. These scammers pose as employees of the bank attempting to help you.

If you receive an email, text, or phone call asking for confidential information, this is a RED FLAG!

End the call, delete the text or email and call one of our offices immediately.
