Bank History
The Iowa State Bank of Clarksville and Kesley has a long-standing tradition that dates back to 1918. The Kesley State Bank was formed in 1918 and became the Iowa State Bank in 1935. It was one of the few banks that remained open during the depression. In october of 1935, the charter and principal office were moved to Clarksville, Iowa. In 2002, an office was established in the Parkersburg community. The bank's expertise in agricultural lending has always served the needs of the area with much strength. Iowa State Bank is locally owned and operated and continues to make prompt decisions, provide personal service, and progress in technology that benefit our customers.
